Reuse Audit Questions or Sections in Multiple Questionnaires

Reuse Audit Questions or Sections in Multiple Questionnaires

You can reuse Audit Questions and Audit Sections in multiple questionnaires to avoid creating duplicate copies of the same question. This better allows you to create variations around a questionnaire, like having a "Lite" and a "Detailed" version for example, and ensure that the "View History" feature lists the history of that question regardless of which questionnaire it was answered in.

Reuse Audit Questions

1) The questions first need to be marked as "reusable"

This can be done in bulk by exporting to Excel and reimporting to update the current existing questionnaire's questions (column L)
2) Then, you can import the questions into in a another questionnaire.

This can also be done via Excel by keeping the "Question ID" column (column O) and the existing questions will be imported in the questionnaire.
Note: Modifying a question while importing it into a new questionnaire is not supported, it will be imported "as it is, without any modification". This is to avoid breaking the original questionnaire by accident

Reuse Audit Sections

1) The section needs to be marked as "reusable"

2) Then, you can import the section into another questionnaire

Reusing audit sections is not supported from the Excel question import.
