ConnectWise Manage Integration error "You do not have security permission to perform this action."

ConnectWise Manage Integration error "You do not have security permission to perform this action."

Are you are seeing this error about your ConnectWise Manage integration when signing in to Propel Your MSP?

The reason is because in ConnectWise Manage v2020.4, a new "Table Setup" security permission, introduced in v2020.3 has started throwing the "You do not have security permission to perform this action." error when not set correctly for the API Member Role used by Propel Your MSP.

If you experience this error, please verify your Security Permission in CW. Ensure that "Table Setup" is set to "Inquire = All" and please click "Customize" beside "Setup Tables" and confirm the selection (see image below).

It appears that you need to confirm the customize selection for it to take effect, maybe even remove all tables, save and then put them back.

Also, be sure that the tables are in the left column:

All necessary tables are listed this the How to create a ConnectWise Manage API Member article.

After you've done that, please touch the PSA Credentials form in Propel and save (i.e. remove a letter somewhere, put it back and save). That should bring back the integration to Operational.
