Automatic OS End of Life Date Detection

Automatic OS End of Life Date Detection

When importing Assets from your PSA, Propel Your MSP can automatically detect and set the OS End of Life date if imported fields are properly formatted as a recognized OS. The PSA Fields that play a role are:
  1. OS Type
  2. OS Info
For example, the following OSs are detected (non-exhaustive list)
OS Type
OS Info
Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
6.1.7601 Service Pack 1
Microsoft Windows
5.1.2600 Service Pack 3
Microsoft Windows 8 Pro 64 bits
6.2.9200
Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 Standard x64
6.0.6003 Service Pack 2
VMware ESXi 5.1.0 build-1483097
5.1.0
XP
Professional Edition Service Pack 3 Build 2600
10
x64 Edition Build 16299
2019
Server Datacenter x64 Edition Build 17763

Complexity arises from the fact that different RMMs will set those fields differently in your PSA. But we currently support most Microsoft Windows and VMWare ESXi versions.

If you notice an Asset OS End of Life that is not detected and you think it should be, or if you see something misdetected, please send us an email at support@propelyourmsp.com so we can take a closer look into it.
