ConnectWise Manage: Error when pushing a Project Opportunity to a PSA Sales Opportunity

ConnectWise Manage: Error when pushing a Project Opportunity to a PSA Sales Opportunity

When pushing a Project Opportunity to a ConnectWise Manage Sales Opportunity, you may run into a situation where the following, non-descriptive error, is returned by ConnectWise Manage. The Sales Opportunity would still be created, but not its forecasts.
  1. {
  2.     "code": "ConnectWiseApi",
  3.     "message": "An unexpected database error has occurred."
  4. }
One of the identified cause of that error is that the Company in ConnectWise Manage does not have a Tax Code set. Set that in your PSA and Propel should then be able to push Project to Sales Opportunities without any issue.
