Autotask PSA: Import Manufacturer and Model Number from the Autotask Product
Autotask PSA
Propel Your MSP, if no User Defined Field has been set in PSA Integration / Asset Mapping , will now import the Manufacturer and Model Number from the Autotask Product assigned to the Configuration Item. This often has more "human-friendly" information then RMM-fed information, especially for SNMP devices like switches. If no Product is set on a device, the current Datto RMM synced fields are used for those two fields.
Action Required
But, in order to allow that new import, a new API Member permission must be configured in your Autotask API Member used by Propel: the "Inventory / Products / View: All" permission
Please add the permission before November 1st, 2024 otherwise you will get a PSA integration in Propel when it becomes mandatory
Team Member Imports
Natively, Autotask PSA only has one team member field per Company (i.e. the "Account Manager" field). If desired, you can choose to sync that field to the vCIO Team Member of Propel Your MSP. See the "PSA Integrations / PSA Defaults" screen:
